Actor Glen Powell is making waves in Hollywood through a number of roles in high-profile films like Top Gun: Maverick, Hit Man, Anyone but You, and Twisters–but could he do a comic book movie next?
Powell told The Playlist that he enjoys DC and Marvel movies, but no one from those companies has called and asked him to star–at least not yet (Powell has, however, played a small role in a Batman movie already). “You know I’ve never gotten a call from DC or Marvel,” he said. “But I’m a fan of everything they do.”

The upcoming Nicolas Cage movie The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, which stars Cage as himself in what sounds like a totally over-the-top story, has a new release date.
It’ll be released on April 22, 2022, it’s been announced (via Collider). The film was previously expected to be released in March 2021, but that time has come and gone.
Cage plays himself and gets mixed up with a drug kingpin and later becomes an informant for the CIA. In the movie, Cage is suffering through debt and a strained relationship with his daughter. He’s also trying to get a role in a new Quentin Tarantino movie. To make some cash, Cage takes money from a Mexican billionaire, played by Pedro Pascal, for an appearance at his birthday party.

Twitch is implementing a new feature called Hype Chat, which works very similarly to YouTube’s Super Chat. You’ll now be able to pin a message on top of a streamer’s chat as long as you’ve donated a specific amount of money.
According to a Twitch blog, we know that to use Hype Chat, you’ll need to donate at least $1, and it’ll have a maximum of $500, but streamers can set the minimum donation to $100. And the more money you’ve donated, the longer your message will stay above their chat. When this new feature launches, it’ll only be available to partners, but Twitch is “working on a plan to roll it out more broadly.” Thanks to The Verge, we also know that Hyper Chat is only usable via a web browser.
